About Me

 

My name is Maya Gardner and I am the owner of Lunar Sol, LLC. I graduated from the University of Maryland with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (with a minor in astronomy) and my Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Currently, I am the Director of Marketing and Sales for Kalen Biomedical, LLC. The greatest thing I have learned from this position is the importance of understanding the niche needs of your industry and using the correct tools for every unique situation. One size definitely does not fit all.

The name Lunar Sol comes from my fascination with space. Studying astronomy taught me not just about the inner workings of stars but more importantly about humility. Seeing how you’re a blip in time and space really makes you focus on what’s important. I apply these teachings to my business by focusing on what actually makes a difference and not wasting time on the things that don’t.

As the daughter of a scientist and an artist, I’ve developed a love for design and a penchant for hard data and spreadsheets. I have always held the belief that all things should be done well and with intention, but it also doesn’t hurt to make it look good.
